15 Years Of Voluptuous 1994
Voluptuous first hit the newsstands in the spring of 1994 as a quarterly magazine. SCORE had debuted less than two years earlier and quickly became very popular but there was a demand by our audience for girls that were 100% natural. “All Plump, All Stacked, All Natural” was the magazine’s slogan on every cover. By issue three, that was shortened to “All Stacked, All Natural.” Lisa Miller is a worthy example of why Voluptuous was created. The German glamour model had the silicone-free mellons and full-figured body that deserved a magazine all their own. Latin babe, Michaela, Traci Burr and Olivia were also extremely memorable 1994 glamour models who helped acquire the fledgling magazine off to a flying start. German adult models were plentiful in the early years. Chloe Vevrier had already earned a big and loyal fan base from her previous SCORE layouts. This babe was our 1st true “crossover” adult model, equally suited for SCORE or Voluptuous. Beginning with the 1st issue, a writer named Rachel BRIAN brought the woman’s touch to a column called The Perfect Lady. It was changed to Voluptuous Viewpoint in the 3rd (Fall) issue. Rachel had 42DDD jugs but no one ever saw her picture (except for one editor) or met her in person. Rachel answered a lot of questions about curvacious vixens and how to treat them and that babe likewise wrote about her own life and observations. The first year proved to be a success but greater amount fine-tuning was needed.
